Eileen and Ian stole my heart the moment they told me they were having CarterQue cater their wedding. I very much feel like I am CarterQue's biggest fan and I have their number on speed dial in my phone. Anyways, I digress.
When we met with Eileen and Ian for their engagement session, I remember feeling absolutely giddy over how naturally they interacted with each other. They were making each other laugh and smile the whole time we explored the park. It was effortless. And I knew the wedding would be the same, non stop smiles and giggles.
When we first arrived at Eileen's aunts house to gather our detail photos, we were greeted so warmly. Everyone was ready to help if needed and I could just feel this calm in the air. With the hustle and bustle of a big day, it's so welcoming to feel everything flow so peacefully together.
Eileen's details were gorgeous. Her bouquet had lush pops of pink and green, her jewelry was perfectly chosen to balance her dress. And her dress was such a stunner. It had such a regal feel to it and I loved the accents.

You know it's good when you see the photos on the back of the camera and practically want to squeal. That's how I felt as Eileen started to get ready. The perfect lighting, the perfect moments and of course, my favorite... black and white.

How stunning is Eileen?!?!?!

Eileen and Ian opted to have a private first look, lucky for them we had recently decided to invest in a telephoto lens so Erick literally hid in the bushes to capture these moments from afar. I've never been prouder.

The ceremony was really powerful, I could feel raindrops landing on my head so I tried to do a little rain dance jig to get it to hold off and it must have worked because the ceremony didn't get rained out. My favorite part of the ceremony was when Eileen and Ian invited their family and friends to say "We do." I thought that was very moving.

The rain may have held off for the ceremony, but it arrived right after they walked down the aisle which made for some amazing portraits! (Rain isn't a bad thing if you're willing to embrace it!)

I love the pre-party jitters I see as I take photos after the ceremony. Everyone is so ready to party and I love being able to say "That's a wrap!" And watching them all race inside to start the evening!
The Millstad Center has these huge chandeliers as well as a balcony overlook which gives the venue such character and charm.

We wish you all of the happiness as you start this journey has husband and wife! Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your day!
